Why Start a Business in 2016

I know you’ve been contemplating on starting a business for some time as a career shift. Actually a daring one for you. You just don’t know if it’s the right move. And you’ve been looking for a sign, right?

Well, this article might be it.

But why this year, 2016? Well, because it’s 2016. You should’ve started last year or earlier. There’s no “right year” for starting a business. Any year is good. They say time is crucial in business. What’s really crucial is preparation. When you’re well prepared, it’s time.

And crucial in preparation is location, they add.

This generation, it’s best to locate your business online. It used to be when finding the right, most lucrative geographical location for your business was hard physical work. You had to hit the road and scout around to look for it. But with an online business, you just go online and look for one.

In fact…

“If your business is not on the Internet, then your business will be out of business.” – Bill Gates

This is one reason why you should start a business in 2016. Everything has been made much easier and simpler if you do one online. You set up your store through a website or blog. Better if a blog. And then you sell to the world instead of your immediate locality.

In fact, I know a lot of business systems online where you won’t have to sell your products. The system sells them for you. All you have to do is keep an inventory and see how much money you’ve earned for the day. Imagine such great business opportunity that was never available before. It’s available for you in 2016!

Grab it!

You’ve spent time long enough in your employment (or wasted time long enough there?)–and you have served your boss well enough, too (and made him lots richer, as well). I think it’s time you do your own thing and earn money from it, too. And now’s the best time–2016.

A lot of jobs are sheer slavery–making you work hard without being fully compensated for it. Worse, you don’t like the job you have. That’s slavery, no less. And here’s a good advice on enslaving jobs:

Are you a slave? Don’t let that worry you–but if you get a chance to be free, take it. [1 Corinthians 7.21]

Okay, you’re being patient with your present, enslaving job. While you’re at it, do good. But, once an opportunity to be set free from it comes, the bible says to grab it!

And here’s an opportunity in 2016! Business has been made easier online. Now you’re getting a chance to be free–TAKE IT!
